Sorter Technician / Operator 1Job Requirements:
To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Maintain attendance record in accordance with company policy Work rotating shifts (8, 10 or 12 hour shifts at day or night) including weekends, holidays and overtime (as needed) Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to:
prolonged periods of standing, working at various heights, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, working in a variety of conditions (hot, cold, etc.
) Ability to lift 50 pounds Demonstrate initiative to work independently, while flexible enough to work in team setting, when needed High School graduate or equivalent preferred Job
Responsibilities:
Commitment to goal of achieving a zero injury culture Full compliance with all Employee Safety and Food Safety laws, regulations and rules.
Maintain, monitor and adjust equipment as required and maintain paperwork in assigned area in regards to safety, sanitation, maintenance and processing equipment operation Communicate with team/shift employees concerning proper operation of equipment, changes in flow rates or processing capabilities, safety concerns, product quality issues and maintenance issues Perform other duties assigned by Lead Person or Supervisor Perform sanitation and cleaning of color sorters daily and weekly Does this sound like the job for you?
